Biography
Adri Pols is Commercial Manager of TAQA’s approved and permitted Bergermeer Gas Storage in the Netherlands. Once operational in 2014, it will be the largest open access gas storage facility in Europe offering the wholesale markets a natural gas reserve equal to the annual gas consumption of more than 1.6 million Dutch households. Adri has 14 years of work experience, of which he spent most in various business development positions at Shell International. He complemented this by working as a project leader across various industries at The Boston Consulting Group prior to joining TAQA in 2010. Adri obtained two master’s degrees from Twente University of Technology, one of which cum laude.
