Biography
Jonathan Whitehead SG CIB’s Deputy Global Head of Commodity Markets in May 2011. Jonathan is primarily responsible for managing the Sales, Origination and Structuring activities for SG’s global Commodities business. Jonathan has over 20 years experience in the Commodities markets, initially in the energy business, but more recently has managed broader Commodities businesses, encompassing Metals and Agricultural products. Jonathan started his career at Mobil in the Supply & Trading group, and has trading, origination and management experience with Barclays Capital, EDF Trading, Dynegy and Enron, and has worked in the UK, the US, Japan, Spain and France.
Jonathan graduated from Newcastle University with an MEng in Chemical Engineering and has an MBA from IMD in Switzerland
