Stuart Bradford

Biography
Stuart Bradford joined Shell in 1987, and then held a range of commercial jobs across Europe in Chemicals. His involvement in the gas business started in 1995, with a posting to Malaysia as Marketing Manager for the new Shell MDS (Gas to Liquids or GTL) venture. He returned to the UK to take up a corporate strategy role in global Chemicals, and was closely involved in the major restructuring of this business. Next was global Gas to Liquids project development, where Stuart was part of the team that initiated the Pearl GTL mega-project in Qatar. Stuart joined Shell’s LNG business in 2003 to lead global commercial support, focussing on project commercial structuring, marketing, contracting, supply/demand forecasting and pricing. From there he joined Shell Russia where he represented Shell’s commercial shareholder interests as a governor for the Sakhalin Energy LNG JV during the start up period. In January 2010 Stuart took up his most recent position as head of Marketing, Strategy and Analysis for Shell Energy Europe Limited, the new company formed by the merger of Shell’s equity gas, power and environmental products marketing and trading activities.
