Day 1
Wednesday, November 7th
Day 1
The Future of Energy @EAGC
Day 1
The Future of Energy @EAGC

Three experts will give a 10min presentation about: wind, hydro and solar power generation technology. They will then answer questions for 10min

Day 1
The Future of Energy @EAGC

Discussing the role of gas in the transition to a low carbon energy system. 5 chairs, 4 speakers, 1 empty chair: initial speakers are picked from the audience. During the session, any member of the audience can, at any time, occupy the empty chair to join the discussion. When this happens, one of the other speakers must voluntarily leave the discussion and free a chair. At the end of the discussion, the session moderator summarises the outcomes.

Day 1
The Future of Energy @EAGC
  • Is it scalable?
  • Do we have the necessary technology and infrastructure?
  • What is needed?

Day 1
The Future of Energy @EAGC

Investors and corporate R&D decision-makers will discuss the next financial opportunities in energy technology innovation

Day 1
The Future of Energy @EAGC

A panel powered by the audience: the audience discusses the topic for 25min in small groups. One person per group then comes onstage to present the outcomes of their discussion and debate together in a 20min panel session. The chair of the session concludes and summarizes the discussion.
